Deep ruby, med+ body, soft tannins, red and black fruit. Some integrated oak, not unpleasant, CA merlot not my usual jam. Find more. — 19 days ago
Really different from a lot of the other Patz Chardonnay’s I’ve had. Orchard fruits and floral notes are primary on the nose and it is full bodied but doesn’t have any nutty or buttery characteristics. I like the fuller Patz Chards as well but this is a nice change of pace. — 2 months ago
2014 vintage with softer tannins, fig, plum, dark chocolate notes — 22 days ago
This site was, at one time a moonshiner site, subsequently planted by Charlie Chenoweth with Pinot Noir. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, herb and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe strawberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice! — a month ago
Nose like a Pinot, mouth feel and ripe fruit almost like a Merlot. — a month ago
This was juicy but not too much of a fruit bomb. Layers of strawberries and cherries with a subtle earthiness. Mineral driven palate complemented by great fruit on the medium plus palate. 30+ second finish. Wish I had another. — 2 months ago
