Fabulous nose. Hints of dark fruit with extreme oak. Even better on the palate. Bold but smooth with great balance. Wonderful wine. — 3 months ago
Roasted pineapple, hazelnut, and a hint of citrus delivers a rebound of acidity within a rich palate. Creamy and broad with well integrated oak. — 5 months ago
This Couer had plenty of “Heart” as promised by Hall.
Paired well with our steak, salad and twice baked potato. — 7 months ago

Banner year. And a glass of heaven. — 3 months ago
A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 23 months in French oak, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with sweet herbs, floral and complex spices. On the palate flavors of ripe plum, blackberry and currants, licorice, cinnamon spice, sweet oak and cacao. Well integrated with fine soft tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable now and will continue to age. Long finish ending with savory oak, tobacco and slight earthy spice. — 4 months ago
Structured with tannins that resolve in the glass. Some plum and dark fruit are full on the palate. Nice finish. Lots of fruit in the nose. Probably more developed in a year or two. — 6 months ago
One of my favorite cabs. Wonderfully balanced complexity, silky mouth feel, a bit chewy with a delightful finish. Put it up for a couple of years if you can wait. — 6 months ago
Solid performer from Hall. Loads of plum, black cherry, black tea and wild berry notes, with a dash of graphite. Gave it a good 1 hr decant and it opened nicely. Fine tannins on the finish. As with most Hall wines it has a lot of fruit forward until it settles in. — 2 months ago

Outstanding. Very fruit forward but excellent balance. Medium body. — 3 months ago
Special name, special occasion. Love ‘12 CA Cabs and this one especially. Surreal power for age 14. Still dense fruit, good balance but still more tilt and less finesse. Maybe better in 3-5 years but shows the heft of a well made Napa Cab. — 4 months ago
My last bottle so I decided to treat the group on New Years Day. Inky purple and a amazing nose right out of the bottle. Loads of red and black fruits with licorice, cedar and leather throughout. Complex finish and beautiful tannins. Once in a while bottle that delivers. Might have been up against its life span, but still a keeper. — 6 months ago
Still a great vintage and could have many more years to go. — 6 months ago
Hall, Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
This Mount Veeder Cabernet delivers impressive consistency, with ripe plum and blackberry flavors that open the wine and carry seamlessly through the mid-palate. The concentration and depth are excellent—a direct result of the small grapes produced in Mount Veeder’s challenging terrain.
What stands out is the wine’s wide structure balanced by soft, approachable tannins. It’s substantial without being heavy, offering both immediate pleasure and the framework to age gracefully.
Definitely a special occasion recommend! — 7 months ago

We had the 2018 Vintage on 6/1-2/26. A terrific PN. Nice mouthfeel. New World. Black fruit and baking spice on the bouquet. Black cherry, black raspberry, candied apple and mild spice on the palate. Smooth finish. Good wine, from a good wine maker from a good vineyard — 17 days ago
