Tasting group 2/7/16. Blind. Wood, spice, black plum, green note. Hard. Air is kind. Black fruit flavors, warm, fast, astringent.

A beautiful wine any day and half the price of a first growth. I'd like a date with this one around 8pm on my front porch. 😍

Very young and a bit green at first. 6 hours later began to really open up. Classic

2012 was tough and it really shows in this bottle.

As others have said, this is pretty oaky and a bit green.

Been sitting on it for a decade and boy was it worth the wait. It’s everything I’d want in a St. Julien Bordeaux. Silky tannins, elegant mouthfeel, great balance of red fruit and earthy undertones. Sadly, that was my last one.

Wonderful fourth wine of the evening. Extremely Bordeaux on the nose, and rich dark fruit enhanced by beautiful French oak. Lovely finish to the evening.

Rich, earthy. Notes of cassis and olives. Delicious.
