California (Santa Maria Valley) fruit vinified in Pennsylvania. Murky garnet color. Aromas of red berry fruit, forest floor and freshly turned soil. Flavors of red cherry/raspberry/strawberry fruit with touches of minerals and wet earth. Light bodied with a nice touch of oak on the long and silky finish. Very Burgundian in style. — a year ago

I discovered this wine when I was at the Stina Winehouse in Bol, Braç, one of the Dalmatian islands of Croatia. The perfect elegant complexity I'm looking for in a wine. For only 13% of alcohol this complexity and full taste is almost unbelievable. No sourness in this wine, only great greatness! — 4 years ago
$5.50 ...that’s right only $5.50. Based on price the score should really be 9.5!!! Frankly, I don’t know how they do it. This was served alongside 53 other Spanish wines at The Winehouse Spanish Winefest and blew all our minds for the money. — 7 years ago

Cellar Beast Winehouse Riverbench Vineyard Pinot Noir Reserve 2022, Pennsylvania
Reddish in color with medium intensity.
Fruity nose with bing cherries, raspberries, cooked strawberries, light oak, spices and chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with ripe strawberries, cherries, spices, light oak and chocolates.
Tangy and spicy on the finish with soft tannins, raspberries and peppercorn.
This Pinot Noir is made in Pennsylvania, but the grapes are from Santa Maria Valley in california.
This Single Vineyard is drinking very nicely now, and very true to the Terroir. Tangy and interesting. Soft and easy drinking.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. I gave it a light chill and had it by the pool.
Grapes were aged in (17% new) French oak barrels for 9 months.
12.8% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Delicious, acolyte to the Lopez de Heredia Gravonia crown. Great recommendation at winehouse LA. — 7 years ago
— 8 years ago

Yakima Valley (WA) fruit. Medium cloudy golden color. Aromas of lemon, yellow apple, white flowers and brioche. The palate is full of pineapple, citrus, golden delicious apple and tropical fruit with hints of spice, light oak, butter and vanilla. Long finish, crisp acidity and creamy texture. This wine is unfiltered which intensifies its “leesey” qualities. Quite complex, well crafted and interesting. Elegant and Burgundian in style. Revisited in September 2025. Oak is more prevalent in this bottle. Fabulous texture and really well balanced. Good stuff! — a year ago
Name means “Young Beast.” Southern Rhône Style Red blend of Grenache (53%), Syrah (36%) and Cinsault (11%). Made from grapes grown in Washington State and trucked across the country to Eastern Pennsylvania for vinification and bottling. Bright garnet color. Aromas and flavors of ripe red fruit, purple flowers, beef jerky and black pepper. Long and lingering finish. Medium bodied and totally fresh and lively. Nicely balanced acidity and well suited to pair with a wide range of foods. Amazing texture. Such a pleasant surprise. Revisited in September 2025. Still bright and nicely balanced. Very solid. — 2 years ago
Cherry Nose. Maraschino cherry 🍒? Is slightly oxidized. Iron aftertaste. Sweet and rich but also quite tart. I wonder if it is really just 12.5%. Licorice, iron, blood orange 🍊, dark cherry and spice with a hint of bitter. The wine seems somewhat overdone. Tries to be a big wine but Trousseau might be the wrong grape for this exercise. Perhaps I lack the expertise as I have limited experience with old Trousseau’s and aging potential of these wines. Still available at the WineHouse in LA and Max Kogod. — 7 years ago

Very pleasant Sauv blanc from Slovenia. More creamy than typical sauv blanc, which I appreciated. Tasted by glass at Winehouse, bought bottle. — 2 months ago
