White peach on the nose and palate. Smooth with low acidity but pleasantly crisp. — a year ago
A ripe, soft style. Nose has earthy, crumbly granite, beef blood, iron, and purply berries. Mouthfilling and soft, the dark flavors have roasted herbs, iodine, unsweetened dark chocolate, and pungent berry ooze. Acids on the low side, but nicely-textured and full of flavor. Good value. Weirdly, the cork says “Domaine des Chemins.” That leads me to wonder whether this is essentially a negotiant buying and marketing fully-made wines. — 2 years ago
Great back-pocket rose, had with cold Vietnamese steak salad. Bright acidity. — 5 months ago

Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice! — 2 years ago

Ethereal and gorgeous, not your average rosé. A medium crimson color in the glass with effusive perlage. All the pretty red fruits on the nose. Strawberries, raspberries, and cherries, no doubt, but pineapples join the party too. Sweet brioche and beautiful floral notes complement.
From Les Riceys, the cross section of Champagne and Burgundy and it shows. Vinous, vibrant, and deep. The acidity is high and lovely along with terrific balance and weight throughout. 100% Pinot Noir with a nice combination of fruity and savory. The palate closely follows the nose with more sumptuous red berries and biscuits in the mouth. Oak on the long finish. A powerful champagne and one of my favorites. — 23 days ago
