Opened about an hour before our Thanksgiving dinner; a preamble of sorts. At these early stages, the 2020 Amador County is like a laser beam of lemon citrus. Yes, there are lemon blossoms and minerals too. The acid is racy and there is a bit of a wooly texture too. Exciting now due to its youthful energy but should be fun for several years to come. — 2 years ago

Drank at the end of 2023. Mellow (due to the age I presume) but full of flavors of tobacco and leather. Dangerously drinkable — a year ago
So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back.and due to scheduling, my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.
Notes possibly tomorrow, scores honestly tonight.
Decanted 6H.
24-Hour Update:
Nose has crushed bricks, blood orange, ripe cherries, cranberry sauce and wet vines.
Palate has dried cranberry (unsweetened), chalk, orange zest, black currant and dried blackberry.
Seems a little shutdown, revisit 2023+. — 3 years ago
Could drink this every day. Perfectly balanced, medium-bodied 60-40% cab-primitivo. Dark cherry on the nose, smooth finish, delicious with steak, asparagus, roasted potatoes, and arugula salad. — 2 months ago
