Needed breathing the oak very present at first. Then it opened to cherries, lemmon , thyme, curry flower, elegant, tannins yet to be tamed, good freshness to it. Loved it the second day, not so much the first. Great value, feel it fresher than Ribera, that would have been my blind tasting guess., — 9 months ago
Vintage 2019 | I love this wine. It’s a idiosyncratic character. A Beast. Not willing to show charm. Very old school: classic smell, peat, cedar. Hint of chocolate. I thought it to be a Tannat, that says it. Put away in the cellar for another 3 - 5 years and get it on a windy, rainy autumnday for a dinner with wild boar of deer. Probably you will be amazed and witness a miracle. — 2 months ago

v16. Very nice. Distinct white pepper and cedar nose. Rich black cherry and cola fruit. Clean, bright mocha finish. Enjoyable wine that over delivers. — 8 months ago
Smokey blueberries (if there was such a thing), vanilla, coconut cream, licorice, beef jerky, and a subtle dill/mint note. Plums, blueberries, sour cherry with some toasty oak and black tea. Medium acidity and medium, slightly course tannins.
Really tasty stuff. Quite Rioja like which I enjoy. I'll be looking for Temp from this region in the future. — 3 years ago
