Apalta Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Carménère 2020

Tried twice! Blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah and 10% Carmenère, deep Ruby with purple hues, aromas of black fruits and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black currant and black pepper spice with some cacao notes. Rustic big tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and powerful spice. Drink now and over next 3-5 years for max benefit. — 14 days ago

Grand Selection Casablanca Valley Chardonnay 2019

Deep gold color; yellow apple, start fruit, and jasmine on the nose; high acidity; tastes like apricot, lemon zest, and saline with a long finish. Nellie likes it and I do too. — 4 months ago

Cuvée Alexandre Apalta Vineyard Carménère 2022

Blackberry, chocolate and spicy aromas. Medium tannins and juicy. Went nicely with a hamburger blended with mild jalapeño and cheese. I would get this wine again. — 25 days ago

Le Petit Clos Apalta Red Blend 2019

Wow, this second wine from the famous #apalta producer is stunning. Nose is supremely elegant black/purple fruit, sous bois and dried herbs. The rich beam of dark fruit is offset by the perfect level of acidity on the palate with velvety tannins on the finish. — 23 days ago

Clos Apalta Limited Release Carménère Blend 1997

Medium ruby , quite wide ruby / garnet rim , but very little bricking . Very young looking . Quite deep on the nose with dusty spiced cassis and dark fruits and coffee , slightly toasty , leather. On the palate quite dark fruits , cassis , spiced plum , roasted peppers , with those coffee notes. Quite sweet on the mid palate with ripe but still noticeable tannin, good balanced and acidity and balanced alcohol . Pretty decent length with a leather , coffee tinged finish . Still drinking very well , and will do over the next 5-8 years . — a month ago

Rapel Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Some nice fruity tastes at the start and then all a lot of nice dryness at the end. The dry aftertaste keeps you coming back for more. Quite a nice wine with suprising combinations drink and after drink taste. — 9 months ago
