Red berry nose with notes pepper. Cherry, chocolate, plum and leather on the tongue. Full body, rich ruby color, finishes delightfully tannic. — 5 months ago
Good smooth red — 2 years ago
Deep, elegant Super Tuscan now firmly in its tertiary phase. Nose leans more to leather, tobacco, dried herbs and balsamic notes, with the red cherry and plum fruit clearly in the background. Medium‑plus body and acidity, fine chalky tannins; savoury flavours of dried red fruit, cedar and spice carry through on a long, resolved finish. Showing peak complexity today and unlikely to improve further with cellaring, so firmly in the drink‑now camp. — 4 months ago
Medium ruby garnet, quite thin garnet terracotta rim . Quite rich , with ripe red fruits , some tobacco , warm spiciness , cigar box , ripe cassis , sous bois , after a while touch of coffee. On the palate this also shows good roundness with ripe red and dark fruits, cassis , red plum , grafite , touch of earthiness . Balanced acidity and rounded sweet tannin . Quite juicy with a grafite edged finish . Pretty good length. This is at peak now . For now and over the next 5 -8 years. Quite generous and showy , ripe but balanced, a good showing. — 6 months ago

This really leans into the darker aspect of Cab. Dark cassis, loads of dark crushed stone, baker’s chocolate, dark iodiney savory notes. Intense in the mouth, but with surprisingly nice acids for its 14.9 frame. Rich, but bone dry. Still tannic, but it’s soft. — 10 months ago
Deep inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, black plums, blackberries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, light cola, eucalyptus, chocolates, Indian spices and peppercorn.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, raspberries, peppercorn, chocolates, spices and light oak.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and cranberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak in Napa Valley is already drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and complex.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable even by itself.
Needed 2 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Well worth the wait. Loved the nose once it opened up.
Tangy and interesting to drink by itself or with food. Paired nicely with my Ox tail.
A tiny production of only 6 barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, light vegetables and black pepper.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Syrah feels more like a Grenache than a Syrah. Showing nice balance between the fruits and earth notes.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
