Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2020

Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, herb spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with dried herb notes, vanilla and toasty oak. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fresh fruit, spice, floral and earthy tones. Good now! — 10 days ago

Lola Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2022

2022. First of two tasty Pinot Noirs that we enjoyed tonight. This fruity wine paired well with a potato encased meatball in a smoky paprika based bravas sauce. — 4 months ago

Sleeping Lady Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Fruity nose of cedar, herbs, tobacco leaf, herbs, black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, vanilla, licorice, cloves, mint, black pepper and light earth.

Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This 8 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already gorgeous, although still young.

Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining.

The 2016 was a great vintage, and it is showing. This Single Vineyard cabernet will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it always delivers.

Thank you Barry for sharing this with me.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it beef brisket.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (65% new) French oak barrels for 18 months.

14.7% alcohol by volume
