Great Thanksgiving wine! Dried cherries, rose petal, gum Arabic, cedar-Saigon cinnamon-oak, elderberry, currant, nutmeg, blueberries. Black pepper on entry softens to black and red cherry with lavender and violet. A touch of cherrywood a smaller touch of applewood, a minute touch of hickory and a nano shaving of mesquite. Laden with inlay. Sour blackberry finish speckled with lingonberries and myrrh.

This wine was recommended by our waiter after my choice was not available and he hit the mark. A perfect opening for a romantic dinner. Very unique tones with a powerful smell yet smooth and elegant throughout. We loved it! — 7 months ago

Jet black in color yet ethereally light on the palate. Tastes earthy with a distinct note of grape leaf (think Dolmathakia). — 7 years ago
The nose is an entire florist shop, such an intense bouquet! Dried tobacco and light strawberry play with rose petal on the palate. Must try wine of 2018! — 8 years ago

Rec by sommelier at Ava June. Dark berries, with a floral base. Good with the pork schnitzel, which was awesome. Elissa has steak frites and didn’t like the floral flavor as much, but that’s not her thing. — 5 months ago
