Je suis un fils de pute chic. Donnez-moi une cape, un haut-de-forme et une canne en ivoire et je frapperai la reine. Vive la Vino — a year ago
When a Parisian five-star hotel has its own bottling from Pauillac...’nuff said. This ‘19 is still very young, but paired up with a Steak au Poivre and the obligatory French fries one will easily be transported to the Place des Vosges. All in at $25 this is a super Bordeaux that deserves a place in anyone’s cellar. (Given its youth—and its year—a two-hour decant would be suggested.) — 4 months ago
Grenache blanc base delicately blends with Clairette, Viognier, Marsanne, Rousssanne, and splash of Picpoul. I can sense bits of influence from each of these. The nose is quiet - aromas of yellow apple, almond, peach and flinty white flowers. Intensity dials up in the mouth - some heat, some acid too - neither flabby nor fat. Flavors of peaches, apricot, and Meyer lemon. — 6 months ago
I reckon it’s about in its moment, but wouldn’t be surprised in either direction. A little hint of mystery, the nose you expect, & soft & earthy & midbright to drink. For the money I reckon it’s outstanding, & for the drinking a pleasure. — 9 months ago
