Tasting really good right now. Less sweet than a non single vintage — a month ago
The Crown Gap has never been my favorite from them. Still solid. Also, needs 3-4 more years in bottle to integrate. 91+ with that kind of age.
The Truffle Mac & Cheese was a big hit with the crowd, I’m allergic to mushrooms.

The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land. — 6 days ago
Tried two of their more current releases, 21 Russian River & 21 Crown Gap and this 2017 Thorn Ridge from Magnum. Always consistent, solid Pinots from KB. Paired well with the Duck.

Better than the other Kosta Browne Pinot Noirs I have drank and less expensive at $70. Intense cherry but not overdone. Smooth and elegant. — a day ago
Another fine bottle, 2020. Excellent for a tenderloin and veggies with a dark chocolate brownie for desert. — 2 months ago
2006 vintage. So much power. Decanted and tasted after 45 mins. Medium-heavy body STILL!! Big fruit, big oak, big everything as is the old Kosta Browne style. Things dialed down slightly in recent vintages. Showing well tho for this style and looks to do so for the next 7-8 years before dropping weight/fruit. There was enough acidity/tannic structure to propel this along throughout. 12.24.24. — 4 months ago

2021 vintage. Pleasant throughout and hit plenty of notes without screeching. The KB style has changed in the last few years. Gone are the mega-extracted pinots altho those are still around and holding up in the cellars/secondary market. Those older wines were a 10 on the volume scale. The last few vintages are closer to a 5. That said, this should hold up and develop nicely for a decade+ without issues. Those that don't think you can drink CA pinot noir over 4-5 years old are in for quite the surprise with quality producers. 04.18.25. — 6 days ago
