Blend of 65% Cab and 35% Merlot. No decant. Beautiful wine from Spring Mountain, wish I had more! — 4 months ago
2022 vintage. Tasted with the winemaker, Michael. 90% Chardonnay, 10% Albariño. Light-medium body. The Albariño gives the entire effort just that little lift to distinguish the wine from other Napa whites. Really harmonious, inclusive and pleasant. 13.9% ABV and 250 cases made. Great starter wine for parties or Spring/Summer picnics. 4.10.24. — 20 days ago
From grapes grown exclusively on their Spring Mountain District estate. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, tangy herb, pepper and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe cherry with black pepper spice, vanilla and earthy sweet herbs. Soft chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy oak. Nice! — 24 days ago
2014 vintage with Beef Wellington on 12/31/23. Well balanced wine with smooth tannins. Has a long life ahead of it. — 4 months ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
Nose of blueberries, black plums, currents, oak, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, light bell pepper, dark coffee, herbs and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and log legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, licorice, light oak, spices, dark chocolates, earth, peppercorn, herbs and light vegetables.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa valley. Nicely balanced and muscular, with a soft mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in the decanter. Once it opens up, more earth notes show up, and it gets more interesting.
This 5-year-old is already showing nice complexity with good structure. Spicy and tangy.
Easy drinking right out of the bottle, good by itself or with food. This is not the 'in your face' kind of Napa Cab. Feels like a fruit forward Left Bank Bordeaux.
Still young, and needs a few more years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Wine Advocate 91 points.
Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French and American Oak barrels (33% new) for 20 months.
14.3% alcohol by volume.

Beautiful #syrah from Keenan, albeit opened way too early. Posh bramble berry on the nose, starting to get some of that Syrah meaty black olive character as it warms. Delicious acidity on palate, not inconsequential tannins on the finish that build. Lovely wine but can’t help thinking it would be glorious in a decade. — 2 months ago

Golden in color.
Elegant nose with citrus, vanilla, spices and light oak.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Buttery, yet crisp.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, spices, light oak, vanilla and herbs.
Medium finish with bitter almonds and limes.
This this is an easy drinking Chardonnay from Spring Mountain District in Napa valley. Feels young and fresh, and showing mild complexity at this point.
Nicely balanced and spicy, with a buttery mouthfeel.
This is what one expects from a Chardonnay from Napa Valley, very true to the Terroir. Would be nice to revisit it in a year or two and see how it evolved.
Needs 15 minutes of airtime, and better when not too cold.
Good by itself or with food. Paired nicely with the Italian Prosciutto.
Handpicked Chardonnay grapes were aged for 7 months in French and American Oak barrels.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
