winery. black currant with silky smooth complexity and perfect balanced tannins on the finish — 3 years ago
Full of character. Cedar comes through strong. Earthy with a heavy finish. Quality wine, but not sure if it’s worth the $. — 4 months ago
Yellow in color with a golden hue.
Beautiful nose of yellow apples, light toasted wood, Indian spices and herbs.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with apples, lemons, light oak, spices, herbs, light earth and minerals.
Long finish with limes and light grapefruits.
This delicious 3 year old Chardonnay from spring Mountain District in Napa Valley is fruit forward and spicy. Tangy and interesting.
Refreshing and easy drinking right out of the bottle. Complex with a soft mouthfeel.
A good quality wine with good balance, and the alcohol is nicely integrated now.
I had this vintage before, and this time it is so much better. What a great surprise. I'll have to check it out again in a year or two.
A delicious wine, and a great sipping wine. I paired it with French Camembert and crackers.
Chardonnay grapes were aged for 7 months in French and American Oak barrels.
13.9% alcohol by volume.

It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Light nose of red fruits with oak, licorice, spices, chocolates and moca.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red cherries, currants, wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 6 year old Merlot from Napa Valley is drinking very nicely now. Tasty and easy drinking. Rich and extracted.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Needs 3 hours to open up properly, so be patient.
Nicely balanced and feels like a Right Bank Bordeaux red.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
100% Merlot grapes were aged in (33% new) French and American Oak barrels for 18 months.
14.3% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

A little muted on the nose, no noticeable vanilla or spicy notes from oak, lemon curd. Lovely crystalline texture and taste on the palate, just tasting fruit grown in the sun with a creamy foundation, well crafted in an obviously difficult year. #napavalley #chardonnay — 3 months ago
