Lemon, floral, mineral, slightly honeyed, lovely texture and cleansing acidity, this should continue to age gracefully for 2-3 years, my favorite domestic Viognier, kudos to Jonathan! — 8 months ago

Napa Valley Petite Sirah 2019

Dark purple color. Aromas and flavors of red plum, ripe red berries, dark chocolate, leather and freshly turned earth. Hint of dill, vanilla and smoke on the long and oaky finish. Big tannic grip but with good balance. Quite bold, rustic and burly. — 3 years ago

Château Pezat

Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Delectable Wine
8.9

The 2015 Pezat Red, Jonathan Maltus's entry-level red, is flat-out delicious. Sweet red cherry and plum fruit are front and center in this racy, open-knit wine. There is much to like, including the wine's very accessible price. I would prefer to drink this succulent Saint-Émilion over the next few years, while the fruit retains its youthful vibrancy. Château de Saint-Pey

Saint- Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Deep dark garnet color. Nice dark cherry round fruit and depth here. Enough complexity with wood and earth. What a nice finish with firm long tannins that melt into a clean finish. Best merlot dominant wine I’ve had in a while. Had it with a NY strip at Capital Grille. — 7 years ago
