Les Vignes de Montgueux Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne Chardonnay

Lively and lush with screaming acidity. Learned about Montgueux, a Chard island in a sea of Pinot. A new go-to wine for oysters. — 3 days ago

Substance Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

Always a pleasure with the slightly oxidized style and powerful brioche, honey covered nuts on the palate. Great intensity complemented by the right acidity as well. — 11 days ago

Ultreia Saint Jacques Bierzo Mencía 2017

Raul is one of those special and unique producers whose wines stand out in just about any field with others of similar quality. I could fill pages with tasting notes, but I feel it’s more appropriate to simply reiterate that these wines are beautiful, complex, superbly crafted and downright delicious. It is nearly impossible not to drink a whole bottle. I’m giving an extra point or two for the Saint Jacques Mencía cuvée because of the exceptional value it delivers at well under $20. This would embarrass many village level Burgundies at three or even four times the price. — 21 days ago

Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2019

beautiful early wine. young, the carbonic maceration brings a lot of fruity / floral intensity. Light and dense. surprising duration in mouth for a wine so young. Unfiltered wine, nature, without addition of sulphites. it brings a big difference. — 18 days ago

Réserve Particulière Brut Crémant de Bordeaux Sémillon Blend

A wonderfully balanced and unpretentious Crémant. Light on the bubbles but enough to let you know your drinking some fine French bubbly. Leave the overly sweet Prosecco alone and come up to the next level of bubbly goodness: we’ll balanced Bordeaux white that pairs phenomenally with sushi or just general chef hydration whilst in the kitchen for a few hours working on a meal. You could drink this often and never get bored, saving the fine champagne for the events or the weekends! Viva la Crémant! Viva la France! — 11 days ago

Brut Champagne Blend

Our beloved house champagne! Gotta show it some love once in a while.best bang for buck champagne around.stone fruit, light toasted notes. Acidity fluctuates a bit with every bulk order we get... hence the price but it keep things interesting. — 2 days ago

Domaine Jean-Jacques Girard

Sous Frétille Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Chardonnay 2017

Lyle Fass

Just one of the best sleeper 1er Crus in all of Côte de Beaune. It’s like a baby Corton Charlemagne. Shimmering mineral nose. So sleek and on fleek. I’ll go with my auto correct. Really packed nose that is only showing 10% of what it is, but you can tell this is a big boy. Hints of pear and apple. Earthy tree bark as hay. Palate is just a buzz saw. Balanced, textured, hit of opulence and such stunning purity and freshness. So clean. Like a laser with its focus. Really intense and almost sweet minerality. Juicy, so juicy and such an explosion on the finish. Long, windy finish. This is top class and at least as great as the 14. Terrific complexity. So so well made. — 12 days ago
