Poured cranberry color but looks more like garnet in the glass. Notes of cherry and spices. — 4 years ago
Rich really liked. Peppery, little tangy but smooth. Air it. That really makes it nice — 4 months ago
Though it tastes a bit older than ‘09, it absolutely tastes like Italy - quite possibly the best new world Nebbiolo I’ve had. Color is a pale brick with garnet tinges on the rim, and the nose really jumps from the glass in a way that is both energetic and eroding. Palate features fully mature integrated tannins and firm acid with intense dried cherry fruit, dirty rose water, and some emerging earthy tertiary character. It continues to grow on me with more time in the glass - I think this bottle and I found each other on the perfect day. — 5 years ago
My last bottle from the defunct yet memorable winery.
Smells so delicious, like a fruit yogurt
This drinks like it is fresh, with blackberry bramble, subtle and unique red fruits tucked behind the leather ones.
Tannins are still very gripping, and the acidity tames it back. A touch of heat and its off to the races! — 2 years ago
Excellent entry level from this natural wine producer. This vintage is very fruity and rich in aromas going from fresh red cherries and raspberries to intense blackcurrant and blackberries, with a spicy little touch. Excellent drinkability with a good nerve, very soft texture and a savoury finish. Healthy ripe grapes and warm southern mediterranean wind.
A wine to enjoy young, fresh and easy, it paired well with veal skewers with mustard sauce and sautés veggies. — 5 years ago

Bacon fat, smoky, very northern Rhône-like aromas and flavors, with a very cool climate “vibe” (12.4% ABV), great acid and freshness, I am very much a huge fan, long, lingering finish!! — 2 months ago
