Strong tannin, robust flavor. Cherry, oak, baking spice right off the bat, cinnamon and vanilla. Let it breath for a bit and you get plum and raspberry. Mild to medium acidity. Alexander Valley Vineyards is owned and operated by the Harry Wetzel family. Founded in 1975, it is located on Cyrus Alexander's old homestead. Deep Ruby, 13% Merlot added for body, aromas of dark berry fruits with sweet baking spice. On the palate black cherry and ripe blackberry flavors with cacao, oak and pepper spice. Fine chewy tannins good drinking now, medium+ finish, ok balance with soft . Tasting Sample. Nice value! — 5 years ago

Dry, medium acid body and alcohol (13.2% ABV). Flavors of lemon, mild apricot, mineral. Finish is a medium+

Very good, and would love to revisit this vintage in the future. Brie & apricot pizza.

Would be interested to see a Roussanne+Marsanne collaboration with Donkey & Goat (Skin Fermented Marsanne)
