Really smooth wine for the price point! No after taste and a sweet finish to each sip! — 2 months ago

Good. Worth another bottle. — 6 months ago
Took some time to open up but became delicious. Lots of fruit but not sweet. The splash of viognier softened the Syrah a bit. — 9 months ago
The longevity this wine is capable of is shocking. The color hardly looks half its age, with a blooming nose that screams a much younger, softened cab of yesteryear. After half an hour open there’s nose of blueberry and butterscotch, vanilla and spicy peppery notes still persist! Over time a mustiness emerged, along with notes of wet wood, maybe even a little mustard! There’s even still a zippy, lingering acidity on the palate that focuses towards the tip of the tongue, either flavors of ripe strawberry, blueberry, plum and some meaty savory subtle notes, but primarily jammy fruit, with a palate that develops some woody cedar and forest floor notes and as it becomes further oxygenated. This is so impressive! — 2 months ago
2016 vintage. Last tasted 1.14.24 (9.4). Ripped through the last two bottles. Medium/medium-heavy body. Still plenty of meaty/gamey qualities afoot but undergoing potty training and getting domesticated. Just starting to get cultured and “pretty.” 4.12.24. — 7 months ago
Still excellent. Dark cherries, plums, dark chocolate, and leather. Fabulous on the nose, full-bodied, and complex. An outstanding wine from winemaker Sharon Harris. — a year ago
