2016 vintage . Château de Côts Cuvée Prestige, Côtes de Bourg. This is a Malbec-dominated blend (60%), with equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep dark red colour ( the Malbec pleads guilty). The nose features black cherries and violets with a hint of roasted coffee beans. More power compared to the similarly-priced 2016 Haut-Medoc de Giscours tasted alongside, but maybe a little less charm at this stage. A serious tannic structure slightly obscuring the juicy fruit. This should be great with a few years of bottle ageing. Abv. 14,5% — 3 years ago

Surprise, surprise, I love surprises! Pick this up for only $11 @ my local wine outfit. Tasted very similar to a Chateau Puech Haut les prestige that I bought years ago but for half the price. If you find this buy it, especially if it's $11! — 7 years ago
Dry, medium acidity, scent of liquorice, sandalwood and ashes. Aromas of earth, burnt meat, spices, berries. — 8 years ago
The best Malbec I have had. Elegant earthy and filled with leather and intense but mellow tannins, this wine is extraordinary. The palette starts soft, and finishes with a powerful bang. A truly great wine. Should be consumed with steak. — 9 years ago
Catena Zapata Chardonnay White Stones 2021
Vignoble: Catena Zapata
Appellation: Mendoza, Argentine
Millésime: 2021
Cépage: Chardonnay
Prix: Élevé - Positionnement premium sur le marché
Apparence
Robe claire et brillante, reflets dorés.
Nez
— a year ago
"a deep dark color with ruby reflects, The rose is offering hints of dark fruits, vanilla and grilled bread. The mouth is rich and complex and offers luscious tannins, lots of fruit purity and much elegance and complexity brought by the oak aging. — 3 years ago
Beautiful full bodied wine. Not sure what this is in terms of grapes. Excellent cherry and beautiful plum. Round and low tannin. Gorgeous and beautiful ending. — 4 years ago

Excellent white. Bright and peach-y, without the dullness, cloying texture and alc that can mar Rhône-style blends. Great value at €13 — 8 years ago
Costco $6.99. This is definitely a buy. Tastes like mostly merlot. Dry, nice flavor, no off flavors and pretty well put together. You can’t do much better for 7 bucks. Rated a 9 based on the price. Cheers. — 9 years ago
2015 vintage. 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. From the Cazes stable (Lynch Bages). Surprisingly light on its feet, especially compared to the Haut- Condissas Médoc 2015 tasted alongside. Floral and elegant, more like a Margaux than a Saint- Estèphe. Ready to drink. This is solid. Dry. Cantaloupe. Strawberries. — 4 years ago
Popped and poured; consumed over two days and the best was Day 2. The wine appears deep ruby with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity. Medium intensity on the nose with blue and black fruits, deli case, purple flowers, smoked meat, olive brine, black pepper and baking spice. On the pallet, the wine is dry with a mixed fruit set: ripe red, blue and black fruits in abundance with Herbes de Provence and baking spices. Long saline finish, medium+ tannin and acid. The Syrah plays a very strong role despite Grenache being the dominant variety in the blend. — 5 years ago
Starts out as a tannin bomb—that’s a compliment from this quarter—and mellows into pillowy savoriness. Superb. $13.99 — 8 years ago
Bordeaux notes of slight smoke with good tannins. No real barnyard aspects but red fruits come through. Notably cherry. — 8 years ago
