Nice acid, tannin combo. Not too much fruit which is nice, great nose. Pretty good wine for 10 bucks, you really can’t ask for more. If you like jam and residual sugar keep moving this is not the wine you are looking for. Cheers. — 3 years ago

Centine Toscana Sangiovese Blend 2017
Many in the wine world shit on Banfi. This puts me in the weird position of defending them as there are many of their wines that are quite good. However it’s wines like this that made many soms refuse to put any banfi wines on their list. The wine is not bad, tastes like a cheap Chianti. High acid at the beginning but mid pallet and finish are hollow. I’ve tasted the cab on a random sip but it doesn’t really come through. For 8 bucks I think it’s a buy if you like Sangiovese. Would go great with 99 cent frozen pizza or pasta from can... j/k — 4 years ago

Cordero di Montezemolo
Langhe Arneis 2019
Not the best example I’ve ever had but nice none the less. Definitely don’t drink it too cold as it really mutes all the nice creaminess and other delicate flavors. I got the lemon oil that others spoke of, it kind of takes over a bit, nice wine. Cheers — 3 years ago
