Poggio al Casone
Castellani La Cattura Toscana Teroldego Syrah
This opens up with loganberry Aromas and the smell of dry dirt. On the palate though you get a lot of fruit, this is a chewy wine. Very fruit forward. So much so that it does linger. This drinks like a very young wine even after a good bit of decanting time.

Teroldego and Syrah Blend. Big fruit flavors but still reasonably dry. Lots of dark cherry and plum notes. Smooth tannins and easy to drink. Good QPR

Oct 5th, 2018Reminded me of lighter zinfandels - dark and red fruits, but not overly saturated. Light on the palette with some very fine tannins. Delicious wine.
