Classic Bordeaux nose - black currant, dark cherry, pencil shavings, a bit of bitter cigar box. More dark earthy notes vs gravel. But there’s also freshness. Dried orange peel, an uplifting citrusy note.
Medium bodied on the palate and very juicy. Very fine, dusty tannins, present yet wi the such fine grain. The acidity - fresh, juicy, citrusy. And underneath- layers of dark fruit and an earthy, tobacco finish.
This is surprisingly delicious- maybe lacking true depth but so drinkable.
A fine, sweet-savoury Bordeaux. Probably peeking right now.
