Golden color tinged with pink. Honeydew, rose petal, strawberries, and a hint of tangerine. Very refreshing. Another great wine from Sharon Harris and the team at Rarecat, — 4 years ago

$26.99 Harris Teeter 3/20/18 — 6 years ago
I love this wine and have urged Sharon Harris (owner of Rarecat Wine - full disclosure, a friend of mine) to start making this wine again. The color is a beautiful golden and the taste is a tropical explosion, with lots of Meyer lemons and caramel. Very hard to find, but if you do, buy it! — 8 years ago
2023 vintage nice fruit and easy finish. Some acidity. $23 at Harris Teeter — 2 years ago
2021 Vintage as good as always. Happy days. — 4 years ago
Drank to celebrate the calling of the election for Biden-Harris ticket and the FACT that Georgia was blue again! — 6 years ago
Champagne is for celebrating, not that I need a celebratory reason to open a bottle as I am hooked on champagne. 💉
However, after installing 27 solar panels and waiting an additional seven weeks for my Tesla, I/we have almost erased our carbon footprint. Finally picked it up today. I believe we all need to do our part to save the glorious vines that bring so much happiness to our lives. 🍷🥂👍
As for the Baron Fuentes, the is a very good Champange and is perhaps the best QPR out of Champagne at $24.99.
Bright lemon, lime, grapefruit w/ sugar, bruised red apple & pear, touch of ginger & cider, bread dough, baguette crust, sea spray, white spice with some palate heat, sea fossils, grey volcanic minerals, spring flowers, lilacs and yellow lilies. The acidity is bright, crisp and lively. The finish is smartly polished, well balanced and persistent for minutes.
Whoo hoo! So close to carbon free! 🍾🥂 — 7 years ago

Still excellent. Dark cherries, plums, dark chocolate, and leather. Fabulous on the nose, full-bodied, and complex. An outstanding wine from winemaker Sharon Harris. — 3 years ago
A rich but now well balanced Zin in that ripe style that I’d likely not have been too fond of when it was younger. Bottle coated with sediment and oak is prominent in how it’s resolved with plummy berry vanilla notes. Back label says a field blend of Zin Carignane and Petit Sirah, Alexander Valley vineyard, vines cultivated on St. George rootstock grafted onto a 75 year old clone of Zin. — 5 years ago
Harris Teeter. $20.00. Light peppery Tempranillo. Great value. Excellent with burgers. — 6 years ago
This is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs we’ve had in a long time. And it’s currently on sale at Harris Teeter. — 7 years ago
12/5/18 at Harris’ with Bill Dritsas. Table in the back room near the bar and piano. Very nice steak place. Old-style SFO. — 8 years ago

I'm not sure what happened to the yellow label with the little dancing guy on it. This is a pleasing sipper, with bright, tart fruit and plenty of acid. One dimensional, but a crowd pleaser and good with pork tenderloin and roasted spaghetti squash.
