This is a new grape variety for me from Langhe.
Reddish in color with a purplish hue.
Showing strawberries, raspberries, tart cranberries, light herbs, earth and dark chocolates.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins.
A very interesting dry red from Langhe. Feels like Nebbiolo.
100% Freisa grapes were aged for 9 months in mostly large Slavonian oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Fun and funky. A little yeasty but overall a solid natural beaujolais — 2 months ago
Le trouble fait.. le trouble est.. ce vin est TOP. Dry, but smells of honeysuckle with underlying taste of a creamsicle. Easy drinking. Will absolutely buy again. — 7 months ago
