Good Cabernet Sauvignon with classic flavor. Not overpowering and ready to drink. Not complex but a straightforward Cabernet. — 3 months ago
This is delicious and extraordinarily well-preserved. Earthy and a little feral, still with sappy, juicy, kirschy, rhubarby fruit present. There’s the classic Yakima ashy fire pit scents as well (thank you Mt. St. Helens!). So velvety in the mouth, with meaty, savory, and still vaguely berryish flavors. A treat! — 6 months ago
Bought three $20 syrahs and this was my favorite. A little like a Sonoma syrah i like. Not too sweet or thick. — 2 months ago
There are a handful of benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Washington. Gramercy Cellars makes one of my favorites. Something I look forward to in all wines is ripeness/not overripe and this 2011 balances and delivers. I love the floral notes in Cabernet Sauvignon. Theirs often deliver a signature violet-perfume aroma that’s fantastic. There are more expensive wines from Walla Walla, or elsewhere in Washington but none better. — 5 months ago
Nice - not overly jammy, and with a distinct taste of orange peel. — 9 months ago
This is a delicious, food-versatile red. Blend of Carignan Mourvèdre Grenache and Syrah. Nose has lots of cherry and red berry fruit, a slightly smoky, ashy note. Great balance in the mouth. Such good fruit, a little of the Carignan angularity, tempered by the darker Mourvèdre and Syrah. Nice acids, a little tannin still, and a slightly bitter, minerally closing note. — 2 months ago

This is so complex and resolved. I love the campfirey, smokey notes in the nose. There’s also still some mature berry fruit note and musky florals. In the mouth, the acids are quite nice and the flavors are gravitating towards the savory. This is a really nice mature style. — 8 days ago
