My first txakoli! A little sweeter than anticipated but still quite good. Great with tapas on a warm day. Great rec from @Matt Albers! — 4 months ago

Pale straw with green reflexes. Some residual co2 visible . This is fresh and direct on the nose , some floral hints , citrus and seashells . There is tension here , and the mineral element is heightened by the prick of co2 . Green apple , lemon rind , quite linear , but there is enough body there , and reasonable salty seaside finish. Fresh and zippy. Well made , individual and thoroughly refreshing. Drink now . — 9 days ago

Txakolina and oysters seemed like a good idea to me. After a short stop in Spain on our way from the Pyrenees to the Atlantic coast (within the region west of Bordeaux which got devastated by wildfires last week) where we bought some Spanish wine I had an urge to try Txakolina with oysters.
The nose is clean and fresh with green apple and lemon. The palate is very acid driven, fresh, showing apple and lemon but also a very slight effervescence and a tiny feel of sweetness in the mid palate. The finish is fresh clean, acid driven anf refreshing. And it works super well with oysters. Good stuff ! — 16 days ago

Another solid vintage of this Basque Country white blend. Light white gold color. Aromas of orchard, tropical, white flowers, citrus fruits and wet stones. Flavors of green apple/pear, lemon/lime, nectarine and kiwi. Distinct hint of chalk dust on the medium (but very bright) finish. Slightly Frizzante, fruit forward and light bodied. Great starter, especially on a warm Summer evening. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 8 days ago
