First time with WS in a while. Almost a pogeba. Really liking it so far. Lemon curd, acidity and tension. Excited to try the same in a few years. — 17 days ago
Good value for a classic style. Marlborough typicity through and through. Bright pear and tropical flowers. — a month ago

Spicy and floral, the 2021 Chardonnay X Novo Vineyard blossoms in the glass with a complex, mineral-tinged blend of ginger-spiked apples, lime zests and sage. Luxuriously silky and soothing with medium-weight textures and depths of ripe pit fruits, this excels with tenacity and brisk acids that lift the experience despite the sheer intensity within. A burst of tart citrus saturates the palate, puckering the cheeks and leaving a salty staining as a subtle tannic tug adds perfect punctuation. While powerful and broad, the balance here is spellbinding. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)

Can’t go wrong with Scott Harvey Barbera. — 6 days ago
This was a nice pour out of 9L served up by their Winemaker, Trevor Durling. He and his team are a great group of people.
Really excellent evolution. Classic Private Reserve George Latour style. Fine, dark tarry tannins, dark cassis, wet clay, sandalwood, used tobacco, light herbaceous notes, understated lead pencil, some baking spices, dark spice, withering dark & red flowers, excellent round acidity, balance for days, soft structure & tension and an elegant, round, plush, velvety finish that close to two-minutes. — a month ago
