Hard to beat for the price and all VHR fruit. — 7 months ago
Thanksgiving dinner with family. Needed a second CS to do side by side with 2014 Oakville Ranch. Great side by side selections. I liked this a bit better than the Oakville Ranch. This seemed to hold up better. — 5 years ago

This is a delicious Petit Verdot from Napa Valley.
Tasty right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, chocolates, tobacco leaf, spices, tar, peppercorn, dark coffee, earth and licorice.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate.
Loved the nose here.
14.7% alcohol by volume.

Very smooth and silky Merlot, drinks more like a lighter cab. Excellent compliment to the BBQ pork chops — 6 years ago
Opened with chocolaty notes, and finished with loads of red fruit. This wine would age for a decade and should be paired with big, bold flavors. Good acid and weight, it is a beast now, but should age like, well, a fine red wine. Thanks S and K Bennet! Happy 40th birthday to my lovely wife. Cheers! — 3 months ago
Talk about getting better with age. Enjoyed the ‘09 vintage on Valentine’s Day 2026. 17 years and worth the wait. Deep, dark, luscious with each and every sip. — 4 months ago
Light gold color. Nose of lemons, oak, and ample coconut. Same on the palate. I would decant for 30 minutes as it’s very restrained. Good balance between acidity and creaminess. Medium finish. If this was dialed up 2-3x’s on flavor and depth it would be awesome. Similar to the Matthiasson Linda Vista Chard. Upgraded 1pt. after 45 mins as the air and temp is helping. — 4 years ago
Unusual to be drinking a wine this young. Decanted 45min to begin. Nose somewhat muted, though dark fruit and oak are there. Inky purple. Great ripe black and blue fruit. Could still use more time in the air to blend together, but the minerality and earthiness is definitely there to match the fruit. Nice med-long finish. Decanting 2+ hours recommended. — 5 years ago
Inky color, and flavor just as dark. Mushroom, forest floor. Dry, medium acid. Good depth and structure. — 6 years ago

Nice Cabernet and showing some good development w/ only 5 yrs in bottle. Better things still ahead. Plus a point or two in another 7-8 yrs.
