Crisp and tasty, but not sure it is worth the price tag. Citrus peel and wild Italian herbs. — 2 months ago

Ciallabianco Colli Orientali del Friuli-Cialla Ribolla Gialla Blend 2017

Delayed post from 1/12.
Needed to get in touch with my roots. Raided my dad’s cellar when he wasn’t around to scold me for it. Enjoyed with my mom and sister over pasta with pesto. Resolved and in a beautiful spot. Herbaceous but still fresh. Elegant.

@Ron R highly recommend. Radikon has a 750ml bottling called Slatnik that is more approachable but I’ve found the 500ml are more aggressive and magical

Love this stuff - not a lot exported

Friuli Pinot Grigio 2022

Really enjoyed, light without the acidic sourness I don’t love, sweet but not cloyingly so — a month ago

Venica & Venica

Ronco del Cerò Collio Sauvignon

Much more mineral driven than your typical sauv blanc, very easy to drink though, with a more golden color, with hints of green to the edges. Medium bodied, bigger than your typical, dry, with prominent cantaloupe and honeydew melon flavors, maybe even a little underripe peach, with a long mineral driven finish with hints of grassy hay and even some ripe lime. Kept it open for a week and it didn’t lose any flavor. — 2 months ago
