A producer that I have been buying for several years. This was showing lime, peach, citrus fruits, mineral, limestone, chalk & white flower. Youthful & racy that should develop nicely. — 3 days ago
40+1 birthday celebration. Very good White Burgundy. Tart apple, pear, wet stone and good acidity as well. Awesome pairing with artichoke hearts and escargot. — 2 days ago
Not as expressive as I was expecting or perhaps may become in a few more years but still wonderful. Wooly, lemon pith, grapefruit, oxidized apple, a bit of toasted nuts — 15 days ago
Beautifully textured, almost oily like Viognier but not; Green apples & skins on the nose; deep, deep minerality & that Chenin Blanc cotton thing on the palate. Just a super bottle of wine. Plus the bottle is built like a tank. — 14 days ago
yea im absolutely here for this - the cot and pineau d’aunis carry the cab franc into another stratosphere 🪐 green pepper with some spice, body and freshness ✨💦 — 11 days ago
Word on the street is Butteaux triumphs MDT in warm vintages. In comes Raveneau Butteaux 2005. It had a superb nose that made it hard to put down. Palate didn’t quite match, but Raveneau is always a pleasure to drink — 7 days ago
