I was the only one at the table that found this to be ready to drink. Tremendous freshness on the nose and palate. It was showing wonderful citrus notes & minerals along with some hints of tropical fruit ( sign of the vintage imo).

Classic example, still getting more pleasure these days from Dauvissat though, all the sulfur/closed/angularity of them when young isn't such a hallmark for great wine, no matter how long you have to wait..,

Decanted and poured. Long piercing saline/stony quality. Good intensity. Honey and vanilla on the backend. Faint whiff of cardboard mostly blew off but prevented it from being an exceptional bottle

Perfectly poised and saline. Great concentration but light as hell. A focused oyster shell thing then gorgeous bright fruit. Contained still. Very elegant with huge power. Probably way too young but sheer class with great length.
