Feudi di San Gregorio

Greco di Tufo 2018

A classic Southern Italian wine made from a grape varietal that should be more mainstream in my opinion. Bright golden color. You can smell the salty sea air in this wine! Other aromas include pears, peaches and apricots. Plenty of minerals and wet stones are also present on the nose. The fruits (apple, pear, peach and apricot) taste more cooked on the pallet. Touch of fresh herbs, beeswax and spices as well. Minerals are also very present. Medium plus body and lively acidity. Nice texture and complexity. Excellent! — a month ago

The straw yellow wine shows stone fruit and salinity on the nose. The palate is savory, with a ton of minerals and a hint of apricot and lemon. The acidity is racy and the long finish is all minerality. — 4 months ago

Dubl Brut Falanghina

Wow! Champagne from Campania at €20 a bottle at the restaurant! Fine fine stuff from falanghina picked early. White peach, lemon brioche, lots of minerality, perfect balance and no orchard or tropical fruit overpowering it’s finesse — 2 months ago

It’s been hot as **** here in Campania which meant I didn’t have the chance to have some Aglianico till the air-conditioned comfort of the airport! So good! 🇮🇹 — a month ago

An austere, interesting wine. Nothing ripe or hedonistic here. Strong balsamic note on opening. That fades, leaving a faintly floral nose with a chalky undercurrent. Some bite on the palate - not sweet. Good stuff. — 5 months ago
