Total amateur, I don't know the lingo but I use this app so I can come back and remember the wines I've had-- which ones to buy again and which ones to stay awa...
55gbp @Saponara, Islington.
Nice full wine from Puglia. It’s a good wine starting strong but finishes at the same level without much change.
Like the girlfriend you love bc she has attitude when you meet but then it’s that same attitude that causes you to split. — 3 months ago
15 GBP. I LOVE this prosecco. I had this for the first time in Mandrake Hotel, London. The flavour is mineral-ly, it becomes cloudy. It doesn’t have many bubbles.
Reading someone else’s review of this prosecco, I liked the use of the word buttery to describe this. It’s like a lemonade. — 2 years ago
Bought with talico.com had high ratings but i prefer the taleo wines (lower rating) better. This is definitely clean with substance but doesn’t have much character. Like the girl in your highschool twenty years ago who was nice (and you still remember her) but boring. Wine on its own is fine but I had a dark chocolate afterwards and it lost out. — a year ago
Bought in Bologne. Very smooth medium body wine. It’s non offensive and has body.
If you’re looking for a red wine with sass, this may not be for you. This is like meeting someone new for the first time, and you like them immediately and have good conversation with and they are nice but they don’t make you laugh out loud or have characteristics that are distinctive. Like I said no offensive, but robust enough that goes with most things. — 2 years ago
