Expressive flavors of red and black cherry/raspberry/currant fruit, tobacco and a pleasant hint of baking spices. Very nice Southern Rhône red from Stephane Vedeau, ex-footballer. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 14.5% abv. Bold and big on flavor, but super fresh and precisely balanced. Vibrant red fruit with Mediterranean herbs. Just the right amount of tannins, and a very long finish, ending with dried berries and grass. Really sticks around. I’m surprised the overall Delectable ratings aren’t higher. This is great, and still very affordable for the quality.
