Floral, enough fruit left, mostly dark berries, old book, dried leaves, forest floor, and nicely mellowed tannins. 2009 in 2025. — 2 months ago

This is good!
Most notable is a real softness, the kind of softness you get from a limestone grown grape.
The nose has rose hips, dried blue and red fruits, some dark earth.
At $19 retail I think this is one of the best deals on a solid drinkable red I've found this year. — 2 months ago

Savoury yet ripe cherry notes. Great depth of flavour coming out after 18 years. A medium bodied palate with medium plus intensity. A trace of that elusive iron amongst the earthy notes. A brilliant wine - thoroughly enjoyed it. A pity that we have to wait 15 to 20 years for Barolos like this to be at their peak, but it is worth the wait. Runcot is only bottled in the best years. This is one of the 1001 Wines and one of the best reds I’ve had this year. — 6 months ago

Beautiful and lush. So many layers…feels like this will still be strong in another 10 years — a month ago

Lovely single varietal. Lots of bright fruit cherry and rhubarb. Good value. More interesting than a lot of Pinots — 4 months ago

Drank the 2015 vintage - smooth tannins but still hold on some nice fruity notes — 11 days ago
