This is good!
Most notable is a real softness, the kind of softness you get from a limestone grown grape.
The nose has rose hips, dried blue and red fruits, some dark earth.
At $19 retail I think this is one of the best deals on a solid drinkable red I've found this year. — 9 months ago
Delicious and light with flavour cherry and vanilla. Beautifully dry. — 6 years ago
This was cherries in a bottle. Tart, bright red and black cherries. Slight earthy component. Was slightly overpowered by some of the cheeses on the board but was a good pairing. Put a slight chill on it to 65 degrees. — 4 months ago
Apparently not a great vintage for Barolo and it showed, albeit from one of my favorite producers. — 6 months ago

Very pretty, on its last leg but still kicking — 3 years ago
Still youthfully dark in color with a very slight browning on rim. Upon opening still very tight and shy on nose. Decided to decant this for 3.5h prior our Christmas dinner and it started to open around 3h mark. Then it was a great Barbaresco from Treiso offering slightly darker side of Nebbiolo expression with ripe cherry, some leather and smoke, fine pepper notes. Healthy acidity and fine tannins offers solid back bone for further aging and development. I take this is 2-3 years from peak and should continue to drink several years after that. Glad I have 2 more bottles. This was a fabulous qpr back then at 23€/bottle — 6 years ago
Great fruit slight acidity and a nice finish. Chatham wine store. 2023 vintage. $26 — 5 months ago
20251118 Enoclub Alba with Wakano
Lovely Barbaresco, a bit light in color but nice in taste.
Not too heavy but brings a nice flavor of full body.
Not so tart and harsh as the one 2 days agon from Verduno.
The owners of the Vineyard Ca del Baio are 3 sisters, one went to school with Alessandro from Casa Ressia.
Excellent price for this wine.

Pinotman /// Andreas
Tried 3 times over the last 4 weeks. This is still a winner (sometimes I need to backtrack - wtf was I thinking but not here). Powerful tannins - but comes across as light and elegant with 10+ years aging potential. A ton of fruit even after 10 years. Mostly cherry 🍒. Roses 🌹, leather, violets 😈, touch Fernet-Branca. Will cellar some and that says it all. — a month ago
