Two years more bottle time, same profile as last time but maybe more honey and nuts. It is definitely oxidising as it gets close to 10 years old. Still 8 bottles left. Will have to keep monitoring. — 2 years ago

Almost 2 1/2 years later, same case, even more confused now. On the nose fresh cut bell peppers. Dense and dark. Mostly leaves, earth, forest floor. Flavor profile still dominated by charred oak, though not so smoky. — 3 years ago

We ended the evening with this beautiful Swiss testimony that has nothing to envy to fine French wines. My wine-loving friends and I appreciated this beautiful balance between the freshness of a young wine and the depth of a grape variety reminiscent of Cabernet-franc or Syrah from altitude. A greedy and dense wine, on black fruits with a nice salivating freshness, reminding us that although confidential, Swiss production should be taken seriously. Well done, it's superb! Nice finesse between fruit / caramel and spices.

Nous avons fini la soirée sur ce beau témoignage helvétique qui n’a rien à envier aux beaux vins français. Mes amis amateurs de vins et moi-même avons apprécié ce bel équilibre entre fraîcheur d’un vin vin jeune et profondeur d’un cépage qui rappelle le Cabernet-franc ou la Syrah d’altitude. Un vin gourmand et dense, sur les fruits noirs avec une belle fraîcheur salivante, nous rappelant que bien que confidentielle, la production suisse est à prendre au sérieux. Bravo c’est superbe! We continue to discover Swiss wines on the spot .. Pleasant surprise with this beautiful Syrah. Very close to a Croze-Hermitage in design: Crunchy fresh black fruit, violet, licorice, herbaceous touch of mint and parsley, which makes this wine perfect on pasta-garlic-chili served with fresh arugula! Oaky tip well melted. Balance between freshness and density (medium). The honorable finish of duration .. this bottle at a reasonable price can certainly age favorably for two or three years minimum.

On continue de découvrir les vins suisses sur place.. Agréable surprise avec cette belle Syrah. Très proche d’un Croze-Hermitage dans la conception : Fruit noirs frais croquant, réglisse , violette, touche herbacée mentholée persillée, qui rend se vin parfait sur des pasta-ail-piment servi avec de la roquette fraîche! Pointe boisée bien fondue. Équilibre entre fraîcheur et densité (moyenne). La finale honorable de durée.. cette bouteille au prix raisonnable pourra certainement vieillir favorablement deux, trois ans minimum. — 4 years ago

This is a value Swiss Pinot noir and not a red blend. Swiss mountain fruit. Fruit forward with strong strawberry character and some spice with excellent minerality and balance. Striaghtforward but an amazing value. — 5 years ago
