This is what Vernatsch is all about!
Light (11.5% alc) and crystal clean yet quite expressive with cherries and plumes and cranberries. There’s also a whiff of lemon peel and a stony, herby undertone.
Crisp & light on the palate and very, very juicy with a pinch of herby spice and a mineral backbone. Despite all it’s lightness this has loads of precision, character & personality. Love it!! — 4 months ago
Lageder’s 2018 Schiava is a drop-dead gorgeous red, with an alluring display of crushed stone, ripe strawberry with green stems, and exotic spice. It’s juicy to the core, with zesty red/ black fruits, complicated by nervous acidity and sour citrus twang that punctuates the finish. $18.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, November 2020) — 5 months ago
