Angel's Reserve Lodi Petite Sirah

This bold, smoky and oaky wine can stand up to strong meat and cheese flavors like a champ! It’s long finish brings a fun element to trying different foods with it!! Really like F. Stephen Miller wines!! — 5 years ago

Angel's Reserve Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Bright ruby colour, with wood odours. It develops as it sits in the mouth, a mix of berries and velvety vanilla. — 8 years ago

Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Riesling 2015

Smell of sweetness, apple, pear, with a very slight hint of petrol, slight honey as well. A zest on the palate and very to little sweetness in the mouth. Highly refreshing and enjoyable Riesling. — 8 years ago

Domaine Ballorin & F

Le Bon Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2014

Clouded ruby light, sweet little raspberries muddled with Palo santo and sandalwood. Truffle and cured meat, with an earthen nose like gamay. A long stone washed mineral soak, foraging blackberry during the daybreak at altitude. — 9 years ago

F Red Blend

Dave Phinney's NV local blend from France. 15% ABV. No one will ever confuse this with a Fine French Wine, but I'd serve it to a large dinner party or gathering of friends. And, at about $17 a bottle, it would work well. 8.9 — 9 years ago

Barisone

Barolo Nebbiolo 1971

Made by F. Rinaldi. Label looked new and a good fill, but the cork was showing the age. Nice color. This showed young, might have guessed 90s rather than early 70s. Very nice showing. — 9 years ago

Perseval-Farge

La Pucelle 1er Cru Brut Nature Champagne

A beautiful, cool early Autumn evening, relaxing by a fire in the chiminea.

100% Pinot Noir, Disgorged February 2019.

Words escape me... Just wow!
(Notes later, I promise)

24 Hour Update:
Nose has yeasted dough, flat seltzer, limestone infused apple juice, hard crusted bread, oxidized red apple peel and bruised yellow apple.

Palate has tart yellow apple, saline puff pastry, faint lemon juice, limestone infused water, lemon zest with balanced acidity and a long, long finish. Outstanding.

The P-F wines always need a minimum of 24H open, 48H really if you have patience because then they open to just the most beautiful Champagne you've ever paid under $100 for, every time. No fear, the bubbles will wait over 48H so plan ahead for maximum enjoyment.

Soleado Malbec Blend

Plummy and jammy on the nose, and spicy on the pallette. Good tannins, and velvety smooth. Lingering finish of pepper and leather. Dark flavors but a light presence. Surprisingly light, for a red blend of Malbec, C/F and Merlot. — 9 years ago
