Clouded ruby light, sweet little raspberries muddled with Palo santo and sandalwood. Truffle and cured meat, with an earthen nose like gamay. A long stone washed mineral soak, foraging blackberry during the daybreak at altitude. — 7 years ago
Cool forest and blackberries, strawberry compote and plum. Salted air. Caressing, balanced and lasting vibrancy. Breezy minerality. — 7 years ago
Fluorescent orange and blush. Candied almond and orange zest, tart red plum and dandelion. Oh Pomegranate palate, and just lovely minerality, with an almost silky residue which is lasting. Fresh apricot with clementine exclamation points. — 7 years ago
This wine was hard to find because it states Cab on the front, but it is more accurate to go with the back label which calls it “Red Mountain Red.” This is not recommended for those who don’t like highly extracted reds that punch the gut. Macerated blueberry, bakers chocolate, and barrel room nose. A little bit of used coffee filter. Some welcome acidity mid finish balances the otherwise fatty texture. The tannins stick to the back of the throat, as if I ate too much, that weird tingle. — 7 years ago
Garnet flecks. Sweettart nose, raspberry & blackberry lambic, and pleasing bretted earth. Strawberry poptart reminiscences.
Tart raspberry and strawberry carry through, very finely textured tannins. Dry nutmeg and hints of tobacco, balanced in ripe berry notes. Tannin and spice linger. — 7 years ago
