Garnet flecks. Sweettart nose, raspberry & blackberry lambic, and pleasing bretted earth. Strawberry poptart reminiscences.
Tart raspberry and strawberry carry through, very finely textured tannins. Dry nutmeg and hints of tobacco, balanced in ripe berry notes. Tannin and spice linger.

One of my favorite 2011s from the Willamette Valley, this wine has silky red and blue fruits with enough structure to keep it interesting. Nice finish. Bravo for creating such a nice wine from a very difficult vintage.
