At first, dark berries & black currants took center stage, but as it got some air, forest floor, cedar, and fresh tobacco made its way into the spotlight. Layers of smooth, silky texture coated the mouth, and the bold, well-integrated tannins simply gave it depth along with a solid acidic backbone. It was stunning and didn't even give a hint of oxidation after being open for 3+ hours. What a treat for NYE. — 8 years ago
Layers of lush cherries & some dark fruits and pie spice, cedar & earth flow in silky waves from front to finish. Stunning acidity. Pure, fresh, balanced. #ORwine — 9 years ago
Wow, what an incredible wine-strawberries, bing cherries, orange blossom and lime. Super juicy and refreshing with crisp acidity to round out those yummy fruit notes to perfection! Drink all summer long-but only if their sold out! Otherwise, drink all-year long. #happywinegal @wintershillwine — 10 years ago
This 2013 @bellsupwinery Titan Pinot Noir has aromas & flavors of rose petals, violets, baked cherry pie, brown spices & sweet wood smoke. An alluring spice-filled cinnamon-y entrance bursts with beautiful acidity mid-palate and finishes with well-integrated & supple tannins. Layers of character flow from beginning to end, and there is enticing harmony between fruit and acid. It's a 🦊 foxy representation of Oregon Pinot Noir. And just for the record, I am obsessed with the #bellsupblue that can be found throughout the winery: on labels, tables, mirrors, walls, ceilings and more. PLEASE NOTE: this has been identified by Delectable as the reserve Pinot Noir, but this rating is for the 2013 Titan Pinot Noir — 8 years ago
Pouring the inaugural release v 2013 #granmoraine #chardonnay #YamhillCarlton #willamettevalley #oregonwine - uniquely beautiful aromas of pear, orange blossom & lemon zest highlighted by a hint of Mediterranean spice. A solid acidic backbone balances the pear and apple flavors perfectly, while layers of flinty minerality dance on the palate. Elegantly light, yet rich with depth. This is a euphoric and joyous Chardonnay that I absolutely love! Wow! — 9 years ago
Once again, @drycreekvineyard blows it out of the water with their Heritage Vines #Zinfandel! I'm consistently impressed with the zippy acidity and finely integrated tannins. Cranberries, raspberries, cloves, cinnamon and lovely smoky and cedar notes make this wine perfect for #thanksgivingwines — 9 years ago
Oh my goodness. I am thrilled that I held onto this incredible #vouvray - if you have this #LoireValley gem, I suggest that you drink it now cause it is drinking beautifully! Sweet ripened pear, orange blossom, apple and lime with hints of smoke and a bit of nuttiness. A lush, silky, smooth mouthfeel bursts mid-palate with vibrant acidity that melds into chalky minerality and a lovely, balanced finish. I'm drinking it with this farm to fork rustic creamy angel hair pasta made with a blended sauce of honey chèvre, olive oil, pepper, toasted walnuts, loads of arugula and chives. The rustic-ness of the pasta with the nutty, chalky minerality of the wine is heavenly. — 8 years ago
Hints of strawberries, raspberries and orange peel with a touch of earth - joined by lively acidity that rounded out the fruit to perfection, giving way to a lovely balance. There's some wet stone and minerality on the palate too, and I just absolutely loved this first-ever (for Crowley Wines)**ROSÉ OF PINOT NOIR — 8 years ago
@sonomacider Sarsaparilla Vanilla. Complex aromas and flavors of honey crisp apples, vanilla, ginger, fall spices and just downright delicious. Lots of tiny bubbles dance around the rich, intense flavors it's outrageously palate pleasing. — 9 years ago

These notes are for the 2016 Hazelfern "Winter Rosé" - unmatched and the absolute perfect wine for Thanksgiving/Christmas. Produced specifically to pair with heartier, cold-weather meals, this 78% Pinot Noir, 19% Chardonnay and 3% Tempranillo Rosé is barrel-aged for 12 months in used French oak. It's chock full of black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate fruit; along with, subtle savory herbal characteristics of sage and rosemary and a hint of earth, sea salt and hazelnuts. Vibrant acidity plays a crucial role in making this a phenomenal wine to pair with a myriad of flavors. Love it! — 7 years ago
