Stunning wine to celebrate our 27th anniversary, still plenty of structure and tannin to make things interesting with age and acid still to keep it fresh to the last drop. Dark rose, saddle leather, sort of a wild like red onion skin note and a bit of anise on the nose. Wine evolved and opened until the last drop, we chose to have it open in the glass rather than decant. If there is any more of this wine go find it!! — a year ago
Lovely Pinot from California, bright rosy nose and lovely acid. We could have gone through another bottle tonight that tasty — a year ago
Wow this bottle was from Dick Erath’s cellar. It was in great shape, cork was frail but came out clean with Durand. Wine was so giving kept opening up. Showing tons of mineral, iron, a little earth in there too. After nearly an hour the fruit was just there to round everything out. Can’t believe this wine held up so well but old school under 13% Oregon Pinot is so great — a year ago
Stunning soft tannins elegant fruit long finish opened up more and more over the past hour. Notes of wild rose earthy fruit and light bergamot into a subtle tobacco — a year ago
Yum this was epic celebration wine. Great weight depth and richness exactly what we wanted — a year ago
Damn this is some fine Cab Franc. If you haven’t found it, go find it. Layers and depth galore. Still pretty and balance to boot. — a year ago
Wow! Just wow! Brick colored Pinot wine looked toast but smelled amazing, full of cherries like Rainer and subtle tones of bees wax. Beautiful fruit soft and aged and mature for sure but damn! This is burgundy — a year ago
Big wine really opened up after a few hours likely could have had more time and a decanter but just lovely — a year ago
