Blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, with an iron note as it opens up. Big and juicy on the palate with ripe fruit but with good acidity and tannins. Notes of tea, gravel, and iron linger. Tannins are a bit on the course side, but pair well with my fatty short ribs.
A tasty, ripe, drinkable, fruit forward wine. — a month ago
Very similar to your stereotypical California reds, in a good way. Tobacco and leather nose. Good body, smooth tannins. @Cinc Septits in Barcelona with venison — 2 days ago
Suggested by somm as a chateauneuf stand in. Really good, great medium body and stood up to steak very well. — 5 days ago
Terrific. Big, spicy, tannic as hell. Perfect for hearty meats! — 24 days ago
Oodles of earth, particularly that smoky-metallic flavor characteristic of the Priorat geology, pencil lead, coca, and red and black fruit. Tannic, intense flavors in the mouth with a moderate finish. — 8 days ago

A lot better than the first bottle over a year ago, still can benefit from more cellar time. Beautiful garnet red color — 6 days ago
