Eminent Domaine Willamette Valley Pinot Noir The Weight 2021
Bought from Eminent Domaine 4/24, $56. Rich dark and smooth but not very complex. — 5 months ago
Textbook #rightbankbordeaux - a riper youthful style, black/blue fruit on nose, some cigar box, earthy notes. Quite approachable palate, of course nicely balanced acidity, firm tannins. This would be fantastic in a decade but lovely wine to drink on our 15th wedding anniversary this night. Great bottle price second wine from an eminent #stemiliongrandcru estate offered at one of our favorite Houston restaurants. — 2 years ago

Dijon 115. Bought from ED, $48, 4/24. Very rich and full bodied. Bold fruit flavors. Tannins perfect. — 6 months ago
Ribbon Ridge. Bought at Vineyard 10/23, $52. Needs some time to open up to soften. Decanted. Once open, very smooth and the fruit mellowed. — 8 months ago
At the vineyard for a tasting with Kathleen, Jay and Josie Barton, Jenny Rhodes. A bit less tannin than the 2020. Bolder than the estate Pinot Noir. — 2 years ago
Very Champagne like! Pinot Noir Blend from Burgundy! Light golden color, fine bubbles with a light creamy mousse and aromas of fresh fruit with floral scents. On the palate red berry and cherry flavors with nice underlying sweetness. Dryer than most Cremants I tasted. Lingering finish with lively acidity, good balance ending with fruit and slight yeast tang. Excellent value as a Champagne alternative. — 5 months ago
Actual wine is Ribbon Ridge Lichtenwalter Vineyard Select. Bought 4/24 $48, shipped from ED. Was really good like all their other wines, but had no super special qualities. — 7 months ago
