Wow. Deep dark ruby. Blackberry, currants, cacao, wonderful nose. High tannins not gripping. Medium light body!! Strange. Haha. — 2 months ago
A food-friendly Godello — 3 months ago
@delectable this is their La Revelia. Please add.
Nice. Pleasant. From the northwest region of Spain where summers are hot and they crush a lot of seafood.
A little thicker and creamier than the more common Albariño. Both are fresh & finish with nice minerality.

Very light, soft acid — 10 days ago
Full-bodied, yet not too heavy, with a well-balanced taste. I would consider buying it again. — 2 months ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, flinty spice, floral and oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum with notes of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in oak. Firm tannins, great old world balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and earthy mineral character. — 2 months ago

Godello is described as a being like a cross of chardonnay, albarino, and riesling. Those grapes have little in common but they are all among my favs. But my first sniff of this wine confirms, yes, I see it. Aromas of citrus and flowers laced with petrol and vanilla. The finish has the immediately lightness of albarino but then grows heavy like a fine chardonnay. — 14 days ago
