1 hour decant(decent chunky/cloudy sediment). A gorgeous dark murky purplish magenta color. On the nose: some dark cherry/blueberry, forest floor, chocolate mint, cedar. Taste: velvety, creamy, rich mouthcoating wine with a little dark cherry, earth, leather, crushed stone, and a tar/cedar long finish. Better place 2 years ago, not sure more time will do anything so drink em up — 3 years ago

2019 Armenian! Dry, not sweet and medium bodied. Very nice white wine. — 5 years ago
1/2 hour decant (decent chunky sediment). An impressive still dark ruby red color with some good bricking. On the nose: big expressive nose with dark cherry, smoked meat, minty almond milk, pencil shavings, and mushrooms. Taste: a creamy smooth medium plus body wine that coats the mouth with velvety tannins and a touch of dried blackberry, glycerin, smoke, cassis, and a minerally dark chocolate dry medium plus finish. On the downside, so drink em if you got em!! gonna enjoy this on this Saturday night! — 5 years ago

Se foi uma safra ruim em Bordeaux, esqueceram de avisar ao Latour. Fenomenal, fruta fresca muito viva, com muita pimenta — 6 years ago
It’s got the nose of a Douro red, and the it’s got the punch of a Douro red on the first sip. Strangely enough it becomes a more normal rose on subsequent sips. Crisp and clean acidity until a few bitter high notes intrude on the finish. This is my new favorite rose! — 8 months ago
Pop and pour. A majestic magenta color with bricking. On the nose: port type nose with dark fruit, musky earth, worn leather, black olives, and minty menthol. Taste: blackberry, woodsy, smoke, graphite, dark chocolate, and a peppery astringent tar medium plus finish. Not the best showing of aged Cali cab, and don't think it will improve, so drink em if you got em. Still enjoyed it tonight. — 2 years ago

Pop and pour. A majestic dark garnet color. On the nose: dark fruit, currants, forest floor, spearment, some blueberries, floral. Taste: smooth, creamy, elegant, structured wine with dark berries, creme de cassis, cedar, minerals, vanilla, and a blueberry chocolate long finish. YUM..drink em. — 4 years ago

Cain Five and Waygu strip steak(from Snake River Farms) zoom tasting with Chris Howell(owner of Cain) and Chef Hiro Sone (owner/chef of the former Terra in St. Helena). 2008 vintage and 2013 vintage.
Prior notes apply for the 2008 vintage.
2013 vintage: 1 hour decant (some cloudy sediment). A dark garnet color with a little bricking. On the nose: certain vintages of Cain embrace the Brett on the property, and this is one of em. Some funky barnyard (luv it), plum, pine, tobacco, smoked meat, forest floor, orange peel. Taste: smooth medium plus body wine with plum, pine, currant, coffee, and a bitter chocolate dry medium plus finish. Some tannins still kicking wanting a few more years in the bottle. — 5 years ago

Think White Rhone is right. Refreshing aromas of honeysuckle, melon, and crisp green apple give way to notes of toasted almond, key lime, and a hint of beeswax, with a flinty minerality and a lingering finish. — 3 years ago
