Dutton Ranch Chardonnay 2019

Oak, honey and citrus aroma. Rich, tropical, but acidic and minerally. Long finish. Dutton Ranch area in Russian river valley where is 20 km from the coast is quite famous, lots of sunshine, but cool area, first planter’s learnt by Sommelier. Elegant! 2019 @, arom, 240501 — 2 days ago

Chappellet

Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016

Not a normal Pinot, but not in a bad way at all. The aroma has got a lot of darker impressions like black currant and black licorice. There’s even a hint of earthiness in there. Initially the body jumps out as it’s pretty thick and sticky. The black currant comes through in the taste. Aftertaste is delightful, it’s makes me think of a juicy plum where than tannin bitterness melds into the high alcohol heat. Enjoying this one after dinner on a pleasantly chilly night and it fits the mood. — 4 months ago

Sonoma-Loeb

Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2021

Dark ruby. Abundant nose of black cherry and medium black tea in a wooden bowl. Echoed on the silky smooth, medium full palate which adds medium acidity and a hint of black pepper. "Barely there" medium minus tannins round it all out making a classic premium California PN with just enough "stuff" for New World fare (like some weird salmon in cream sauce dish). Drink now. — 6 months ago
