Riesling 2018

Pale lemon in color.

Strong nose with citrus and lots of diesel notes.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Off dry on the palate with mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Showing lemons, honeysuckle, limes, ripe apples, pears, peaches, spices, minerals, sea salt and light river rocks.

Nice finish with honey and spices.

This is a very enjoyable Riesling from Germany.

Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle. A good party wine.

Good by itself and will pair nicely with spicy Asian food.

10.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Erdener Treppchen Spätlese Mosel Riesling 2020

Pale lemon color with medium+ intensity aromas of floral, ripe stone and citrus fruits with earthy notes, from very steep vineyard, stone steps (Treppchen). On the palate flavors of ripe peach, apple, lemon, apricot, melon with wet stone mineral. Vivid acidity with great mouthfeel on medium+ finish. Can age a bit but is very good now for optimal freshness. — a month ago
